Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms

These terms govern your use of Seraphita, the AI-driven World of Warcraft companion bot for Discord, and its admin panel, operated by the Seramate team ("we", "us"). By using the bot or the panel you agree to these terms. If you add the bot to a Discord server, you confirm you have the authority to do so and accept these terms for that server.

Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

2. The service

Seraphita provides AI chat and roleplay, live PvP ladder data, AI image generation, combat simulations, web and Wowhead search, Auction House data, automatic role management, per-user memory and relationships, and server dashboards for administrators. Features may change as the service evolves.

3. Eligibility

You must comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, and be at least 13 years old (or the higher minimum age of digital consent in your country).

4. Accounts and access

You sign in to the admin panel with your Discord account, and you are responsible for keeping that account secure. We may suspend or limit access to the service if these terms are violated.

5. Acceptable use

When using the service, you must not:

• use it for unlawful purposes, harassment, or distributing harmful content;
• attempt to manipulate or "jailbreak" the AI into producing harmful or abusive output;
• abuse the credit system or circumvent rate limits;
• scrape the service or access it through unauthorized automated means;
• interfere with the operation or security of the service.

6. Server administrators

Administrators of servers where the bot is installed can view member conversations with the bot, sentiment and relationship analytics, and activity leaderboards through the dashboard. If you administer a server, you are responsible for:

• informing your members that the bot processes their messages and that administrators can view this data;
• your community's compliance with applicable rules and laws;
• the role rules you configure and the role assignments they produce.

7. AI-generated content

Seraphita's responses are generated by AI and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or — despite safeguards — objectionable. They are provided for entertainment and convenience, are not professional advice, and you should verify any information that matters to you. You are responsible for how you use the output.

8. Credits and payments

• The service has a free tier; paid tiers (Founder, Honored, Exalted) are memberships purchased through Patreon.
• All payments and refunds are handled by Patreon under Patreon's terms — we do not process payments or issue refunds directly.
• Credits have no monetary value, are not transferable or redeemable, and credit amounts and tier benefits may change.
• Paid memberships can increase a server's shared monthly budget — see the pricing page for current tiers and amounts.

9. Third-party services

The service depends on third parties — Discord, Patreon, AI model providers (via OpenRouter), and public World of Warcraft data APIs. Their availability and terms are outside our control, and parts of the service may be affected if they change or fail.

World of Warcraft and Blizzard Entertainment are trademarks or registered trademarks of Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. Seramate is not affiliated with or endorsed by Blizzard Entertainment.

10. Intellectual property

We own the service, its branding, and the content of this site. You retain all rights to the messages you send and grant us a non-exclusive license to store, process, and share them with the service providers and server administrators described in our Privacy Policy , as needed to operate the service. We claim no ownership over AI-generated output you receive.

11. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time — server administrators by removing the bot, users by revoking the panel's access in Discord settings. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as disclaimers and limitation of liability) survive termination.

12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of uptime, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, and our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim arose (or US$50 if you paid nothing). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

13. Governing law and disputes

If you have a dispute with us, please contact us first — most issues can be resolved informally. Nothing in these terms overrides the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Updates are posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date, and material changes are announced in our Discord server. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
